Education

  • Bachelor of Arts in Music and Anthropology, Lawrence University (2008)
  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy, University of Puget Sound (2020)

Emma found physical therapy nearly 20 years ago after sustaining an injury related to long hours of playing her bassoon. She gained so much understanding of the value of physical therapy that she was inspired to share that with others.

She prides herself on her ability to connect with patients and believes healing through movement is a powerful tool in each individual’s wellness journey. She has experience with a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, balance rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative care, motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and geriatric-specific conditions. She has advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and is certified in the Otago Exercise Program for fall prevention.

Emma grew up on Vashon and is proud to serve this unique community. In her free time she enjoys baking, board games, hikes, and spending time with her family and new baby.
